What you'll do as a Software Engineering Manager, Native
- You will lead teams of mobile engineers who support core product areas and critical initiatives.
- Establish strong lines of communication with a large and committed set of stakeholders across our global team.
- Mentor and develop your team members through consistent career management conversations and regular feedback.
- Drive technical discovery through constant collaboration with your team of engineers.
- Guide the design of your team's software alongside your team members to enable the systems to continue to evolve with business goals.
- Drive high software quality by advocating for the correct level of investment in systems.
- Partner with technical leads to help drive implementation and innovation across core initiatives.
- Participate in the interview and selection process for future hires on the team.
What you'll bring
- At least 5 years experience working in a software environment at a large scale, ideally managing a small team of engineers.
- Experience working in a native mobile stack in either iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin).
- Knowledge of mobile application development, Agile development, SDLC, and mobile app release processes.
