We are looking for a Software Engineer to be part of the core product development team.
Job DescriptionResponsibilities
- Design and develop software products using industry standard technologies and agile practices
- Translate user stories to product design, reference architecture and software artifacts
- Work with peers (product leads, data science and machine learning engineers) across products to deliver maximum innovation and impact
- Use your love of software to develop quality products
- Take ownership of development and decision making
- Respond to changing business requirements and work through ambiguity
Qualifications
- Computer Science degree or demonstrable equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience as a software engineer, developing and delivering enterprise software with the following:
design and delivery of API applications
proficient in C++ and/or Java (or any other comparable language)
Experience with developing API based applications
Experience with databases such as MS SQL or Oracle or MySQL
- Agile methodology experience
- Strong analytical mind and a confident decision maker
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate well, both technically and interpersonally
- Ability to balance competing demands and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of DICOM files, DICOM communication protocols, HL7 and FHIR standard preferred
- Python experience preferred
- 10+ years of Medical Device or regulated industry experience preferred
