We are looking for a Software Engineer to be part of the core product development team.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software products using industry standard technologies and agile practices
  • Translate user stories to product design, reference architecture and software artifacts
  • Work with peers (product leads, data science and machine learning engineers) across products to deliver maximum innovation and impact
  • Use your love of software to develop quality products
  • Take ownership of development and decision making
  • Respond to changing business requirements and work through ambiguity

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Computer Science degree or demonstrable equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience as a software engineer, developing and delivering enterprise software with the following:
    • design and delivery of API applications

    • proficient in C++ and/or Java (or any other comparable language)

    • Experience with developing API based applications

    • Experience with databases such as MS SQL or Oracle or MySQL

  • Agile methodology experience
  • Strong analytical mind and a confident decision maker
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate well, both technically and interpersonally
  • Ability to balance competing demands and adapt to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of DICOM files, DICOM communication protocols, HL7 and FHIR standard preferred
  • Python experience preferred
  • 10+ years of Medical Device or regulated industry experience preferred
