Job Summary:
ACGI Software, a leader in enterprise level association and credentialing software, is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Product Development Team.  In addition to several Software Engineers, the team consists of UX, UI, as well as QA team members. The ideal candidate must be a creative, focused, technically curious individual who enjoys working hands-on with code in a fast-paced culture. The position is critical to business success and user satisfaction, serving as the foundation of our Product Design and UI Engineering efforts. This opportunity requires a strategic thinker and problem solver, a person with a strong passion for consistency, collaboration, reliability, and user centered product development.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements and user experience designs into working products.
  • Support backend development and architectural design within our Oracle APEX stack.
  • Work closely with our UX and UI team members to deliver fully responsive and adaptive applications.
  • Attend standups, refinement sessions, and discovery meetings as the subject matter expert.
  • Perform tests and quality check all development for efficient execution, stability, consistency, and adherence to technical requirements and UI/UX standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of requirements and end user documentation.
  • Assist with internal technical documentation.
  • Contribute to cross team efforts and interact with customers to identify solutions.
  • Support product health monitoring and help address defects or suggest new features.
  • Able to excel in a fully remote environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects independently.
  • High attention to detail and a passion for consistency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration skills; works effectively across departments and with clients.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Internship or academic project experience in software development.
  • Familiarity with SQL, PL/SQL, or similar languages.
  • Understanding of database design, API’s, REST protocols, and JSON.
  • Exposure to version control systems.
  • Experience with Oracle APEX is a plus but not required; we’ll train you.
