We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our accessibility platform. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about writing high-quality code and making a meaningful impact on digital inclusion.
Responsibilities- Develop scalable, accessible web applications using modern technologies
- Write clean, maintainable code with strong test coverage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, and Accessibility Services
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack
- Ensure deliverables meet accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508)
- Continuously improve development processes and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in full-stack web development
- Familiarity with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js)
- Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, SASS
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
- Experience with:
- Git / GitFlow / Bitbucket
- Jira & Confluence
- Webpack, Rollup
- Jasmine, Puppeteer
- TSLint/ESLint
- Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform
