Description
DUTIES: Use Android and QT as development platforms to develop high fidelity HMI concepts and graphical prototypes that are used for usability evaluations, internal and external user studies and infotainment requirements development. Create software for vehicle level functions and perform integration and verification testing with minimal direction of lead engineers. Analyze software defects, determine root cause, create software solution, test and verify closure. Perform design and analysis on changes. Diagnose, debug, and solve issues related to vehicle hardware and software. Work with teams from multiple groups to meet project milestones. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote - Must be able to report to local office.
Additional Description
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study. Three (3) years of experience as an IT Consultant, Software Prototype Developer, Android Developer, Assistant System Engineer, or related occupation. Must also have three (3) years of experience in the following: Automotive, Embedded, Consumer or Mobile software development; Android application development; and Java and Kotlin based application. Two years of experience in the following: Adobe Products including Photoshop and Illustrator; Automotive technologies including CAN, LIN, Speech recognition, Navigation and Bluetooth; C/C++ language based infotainment application development; and Git, GitHub, Jira, Azure DevOps and CI/CD tools. One year of experience in the following: IBM Rational Rhapsody.
