POSITION SUMMARY

The Payments Product team at Boku is expanding and we are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join us. This position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area. As part of the Payments Product team, you will be responsible for end-to-end development of our payment products and features. You will be challenged with building scalable, customizable, and frictionless checkout experiences for millions of Boku's customers around the world.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Design and implement software to address specific product requirements efficiently. 

Identify pain points for customers in our current software and propose novel ways to improve.

Review other engineers’ design and implementation of software and identify any faults or improvements that can be made.

Mentor and coach other engineers to help them improve their work. Provide support services for production software systems to ensure good customer experience and ensure the company’s reputation is retained and improved.

Document the software for both internal and external stakeholders.

Train others to be able to support and enhance our software.

Must appear in office 1 time per week.

Work from home permissible 4 times per week.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

BS or foreign degree equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in software engineering or in the job offered or related role.

Alternatively, we will accept a Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 2 years of experience in software engineering or in the job offered or related role .

Web Software Development using web technologies HTML and JavaScript; Angular Web Framework; Entity framework and ASP.net; Programming against databases and building and maintaining systems that use Databases; and Agile software development methodologies.

Work from home permissible 4 times per week at 660 Market St, Fl 4 Suite 400, San Francisco, CA 94104.
