DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems. Create secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems. Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development. Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems. Identify hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture. Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 (Five) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Solution Specialist, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Developing highly scalable, performant application software using Spring, Spring Boot and Maven for application dependencies management; Building applications that utilize JSON and XML formatted data files/service payloads for data transfer; Developing horizontally scalable applications with cloud native principles and deploying them in containerized managed cloud platform; Developing streaming solutions with Messaging Queues, Spring Boot for efficient real-time data communication processing; Maintaining and enhancing existing applications and ETL jobs; Identifying performance bottlenecks and performing root cause analysis, performance tuning and providing resolution without impacting existing application functionality and meeting SLA; Developing dynamic and responsive web interfaces with React for a seamless user experience; Creating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and scripting with end-to-end to build and test automation using Junit and Cucumber for software deployments; Designing and building telemetry using Splunk for usage tracking and application monitoring; Optimizing database performance using Oracle and Spring Data JPA, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval; Developing a comprehensive authentication solution integrating Oauth Solutions using Kerberos, LDAP, and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) for robust security and integrating it with Spring boot; Developing and automating large-scale, high-performance data processing systems.
