Reports to: Director, Developer Experience
As our Software Engineer, you will help shape the future of interactive physical gaming and realize Nex’s very bold vision: “Create the best motion games for hundreds of millions of people to play on”. In addition to developing games in house, we also work with external partners to create exciting contents and experiences on Nex Playground. Our support engineers help assist the whole content creation process, ensuring games are delivered in high quality to our customers.
What You'll Do- Support external studios in implementing games with our technology stack.
- Collaborate with our producer team to ensure smooth delivery of games and content in our pipeline.
- Involve in pre-production of new games, including ideation, prototyping and motion mechanics exploration.
- Identify bottlenecks and pain points for game developers, including designers and engineers.
- Build tools or refine processes to streamline game development, from ideation to deployment.
- Hands-on experience with Unity.
- 3–5 years of software development experience.
- Experience maintaining software libraries and / or writing documentation.
- Experience with tooling and automation.
- An obsession with code and product quality.
