As Software Engineer - Onchain Data at Anza, you will build and operate the real-time and historical data infrastructure that powers our on chain visibility. This includes Geyser pipelines, slot/transaction/instruction level datasets, execution-quality metrics, and large-scale state-diffs.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain real-time Solana Geyser ingestion pipelines.
- Design and scale streaming and batch ETL into BigQuery, ClickHouse, or DuckDB.
- Create and maintain slot and transaction level datasets for trades, account diffs, transfers, etc.
- Build internal APIs and tools for querying historical states and simulating counterfactuals.
- Build and maintain dashboards to visualize key metrics.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data infrastructure, or backend engineering roles
- Experience working with blockchain data (e.g. Solana, Ethereum, Bitcoin)
- Experience with blockchain indexers or off-chain data APIs
- Deep familiarity with ClickHouse, Grafana, or equivalent data/visualization stacks
- Expert level in Python, Rust, SQL, and distributed data systems (e.g. Spark, Kafka, Airflow)
- Experience working with large-scale or real-time data in a cloud-native environment (e.g. GCP, AWS)
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, DataDog)
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in a remote, async-first environment
Bonus Points For:
- Understanding of validator performance and protocol-level telemetry
- Contributions to open-source data or infra projects
- Familiarity with Rust or performance-sensitive systems
