DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design and implement Full-stack Web applications. Analyze user requirements and create an application design. Develop and test Micro-Services. Debug and resolve technical problems in Production. Implement Cloud Technologies. Independently work with Product Owners on Requirements. Mentor junior developers on technical aspects. Present app design to Architects and be able to collaborate with them on the designs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in IT Management, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's Degree in IT Management, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: designing and developing software applications using Microservices Architecture and REST APIs; Core Java 8 and plus, Spring framework (Boot, Integration, DI, Security); implementation of Enterprise Integration patterns and Event Driven Architectures in Microservices environment using various streaming and messaging platforms including Apache Kafka, Schema Registry (Avro), RabbitMQ, AWS SQS & SNS; containerizing applications (Docker) and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, AWS EKS, ECS Fargate); implementing JSON log ingestion pipelines using Fluent Bit, vector, and Splunk forwarders into log analytic tools like Splunk and Kibana; implementing observability and telemetry in high traffic distributed systems for synthetic monitoring and alerting using Dynatrace, Open Telemetry or equivalent tools; Zero Down time deployments using Jenkins for Continuous Integration and Spinnaker for Continuous delivery; and writing complex SQL Queries and stored procedures for data retrieval from Oracle and PostgreSQL Databases. This position requires two (2) years of experience with: Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible; Envoy proxy administration and configuration in Kubernetes for secure http request processing, advanced path based routing, and load balancing; performing PII encryption of user data, log statements to improve overall security posture and prevent data leaks; using vaulting systems like AWS Secrets Manager and KMS to store and encrypt private keys and passwords; NoSQL databases including MongoDB and configuring MongoDB replica sets for high availability and data redundancy; integrating Module Federated ReactJS Micro Frontends with backend services leveraging ADFS Authentication and Authorization; cache management strategies using tools like Ehcache / Redis / Memcached to improve system performance and reduce DB loads; Asynchronous programming; and Reactive system design using Spring project Reactor. This position requires one (1) year of experience with: Policy Driven Infrastructure using tools like Open Policy Agent (OPA) to define and enforcing security and operational policies across Microservices in public and private cloud; and integrating Google's AI/ML Dialog Flow intents to Spring Boot Rest APIs to improve user engagements thru Chatbots on mobile and web applications.
