We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.
As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
  • Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
  • Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance for the automation within PAM ecosystem.
  • Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications.
  • Demonstrates a high level of technical expertise within one or more technical domains and proactively identifies and solves technology-related bottlenecks in your areas of expertise.
  • Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation.
  • Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development.
  • Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts, coupled with 3+ years hands-on experience.
  • Experience in Privilege Access Management domain (Products like HashiCorp, CyberArk , Beyond trust etc.).
  • Strong Hands-on experience with scripting language (Go, Python).
  • Strong Hands-on Experience with Cloud - AWS, Azure.
  • Hands on Experience with Terraform.
  • Must have strong analysis (both requirements and system) and design skills.
  • Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
  • Exposure to and/or experience with LDAP, Active Directory, ADFS.
  • Excellent customer service attitude, communication skills (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills, skills in dealing with a diverse population.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience working in security domain(network security or Application security) is desirable.
  • Exposure to Java programming language.
  • Exposure to database and streaming technologies like Kafka.
  • Exposure to Enterprise Observability tools (like Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog)
  • Understanding of DevOps and experience with automation tools such as Jenkins, JIRA, Maven, Git and Bitbucket.
  • Experience in delivering solution through Agile methodology including daily participation in Agile ceremonies.
