The Software Engineer II develops and maintains software products, participating in the full development life cycle including design, testing, and deployment.
Position Summary:
The Software Engineer II is responsible for developing and maintaining the company's software products. This role involves designing, developing, documenting, testing, deploying, monitoring, and debugging software systems and applications. The Software Engineer II will serve as a technical expert on development projects and participate in the full development life cycle, including requirements analysis and design.
Expected Duties:
- Design and develop software systems and applications to address business needs (cloud and/or in-house)
- Provide guidance on business domain and product architecture
- Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interfaces
- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure high-quality product platforms
- Ensure security, performance, manageability, quality, and consistency of software architecture
- Conduct research, gather information, interpret data, identify requirements, and create solutions
Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Perform simple to moderately difficult aspects of the role independently, supporting peers and management on complex aspects
- Develop professional expertise and apply company policies and procedures to resolve issues
- Work on problems of moderate scope, requiring analysis of various factors
- Receive little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments
- Determine a course of action based on guidelines and modify processes as required
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices
- Build productive internal/external working relationships to resolve mutual problems
- Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of related experience or equivalent work experience

Salary range of $114,300 - $161,400. [It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.] The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law including geographical location.
