Job Description

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with other software developers, and UX designers in order to build a set of 
reusable components, building a common Design System for all groups in Grid 
engineering to build UI applications
• Work within a designated scrum team while supporter engineers from other groups 
implementation applications using Design System. Build UI applications to be used in 
transmission, distribution and asset management utility domains.
• Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and 
Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing 
Techniques
• Writes code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the 
technology selected for the project
• Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
• Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using language of 
choice

Required Qualification
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, 
Engineering and Math) with basic experience.
• Able to legally work in Mexico.
• Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Experience with web front-end technologies such as typescript/javascript, HTML5, CSS, 
and frameworks like Angular, React, VueJS

Desired Qualification
• Experience with agile methodology, working with scrum teams during sprints
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, build tools like npm, and source control tools 
like git/github
• Experience writing and/or integrating with REST services on the backend
• General understanding of the impacts of technology choice to the software development 
lifecycle
• Familiarity and experience writing UI mobile applications is a plus
