The Job At-A-Glance:

Q2 is seeking an ambitious and adaptable Software Developer eager to continue their development career in a team setting.  As part of our Engineering Development team based in Austin, TX, you will work individually and collaboratively to develop, implement, and support back-end components of the Q2 digital banking platform.  We use a mix of open technologies and our own proprietary framework to deliver world class digital banking solutions to over 500 financial institutions. Our ideal candidate is someone who is self-motivated, has an inquisitive spirit and is passionate about a career in software development.

A Typical Day:

  • With some guidance, you will be participating in the Design, implementation, integration, and testing of software solutions of moderate complexity comprised of Windows and Linux-based back-end components that interact and integrate with internal and external services.

  • Work individually and collaboratively to deliver quality projects on time.

  • Support, maintain, and resolve problems for features in live production systems, with occasional on-call availability

Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here’s What We’re Looking For:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Development, Computer Science or equivalent experience and may require up to 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience.

  • Working knowledge of C# and SQL

  • Experience with AWS hosted projects is a plus

  • Web development experience

  • Passion for applying good design principals while exercising pragmatism to keep deadlines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Effective communication skills

  • Experience contributing in an Agile development environment is a plus

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work flexible hours when necessary for deadlines and off-hours installations

This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
