In This Role

You'll join our agile and independent team building a transformative research knowledge reasoning platform using state-of-the-art reasoning and large language models. You'll help revolutionize and democratize data analysis and research insight by transforming complex, time-consuming text reasoning tasks into efficient and trustable processes. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI systems, data analysis, and agent development while contributing to a company-wide knowledge library that impacts organizations across industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with PMs, researchers, architects, and technical leads to understand and refine user requirements for AI systems and research knowledge reasoning while incorporating customer feedback into future designs
  • Develop, optimize, and review code to ensure extensibility, maintainability, and adherence to best practices for large-scale AI platform development
  • Build and deploy large-scale indexes powered by NoSQL, Graph, and ML Vector databases to store and track both human authored and LLM generated research insights
  • Integrate telemetry data collection to monitor AI behavior, performance, and reliability while using this data to refine product design and improve engineering decisions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline with 2-4+ years overall technical engineering experience
  • Minimum 2+ years experience with coding in languages including Python, C#, or TypeScript with large systems software development and support experience, ideally in Azure
  • Minimum 1+ years experience building and deploying LLM application development or RAG (retrieval augmented generation) systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in designing and implementing LLM Evals with experience in graph databases and NoSQL systems
  • Experience deploying, handling, and scaling infrastructure on cloud platforms with cross-disciplinary team collaboration experience

Salary Range

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $34.13 to $38.94 USD/ph. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
