What You’ll Do:
The Data Infrastructure team builds the foundational datasets and platform services that power business intelligence and data science across CoreWeave. Our mission is to democratize access to trusted data and create an environment where data-driven decision-making thrives at every level of the organization.

About the Role:
We’re looking for a Software Engineer II focused on reliability, scalability, and performance to strengthen CoreWeave’s data platform. You’ll design, build, and operate the storage and compute systems that support enterprise analytics and AI workloads. This includes owning our data lake and clustered compute environments, building observability and performance frameworks, and ensuring that our data infrastructure is secure, efficient, and self-healing. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about building reliable distributed systems at scale.

Who You Are:

  • 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Helm, with deep understanding of container orchestration and distributed systems.

  • 3+ years of programming experience in Go, Rust, Python, C++, C#, or Java.

  • 3+ years of scripting experience in Python or Bash for automation and operational tooling.

  • Strong understanding of data storage, distributed compute, and service reliability principles.

  • Experience with Prometheus, Alertmanager, and Grafana for monitoring and alerting.

  • Experience administering scaled deployments of Spark, Ray, Kafka, Flink, or similar on Kubernetes is preferred.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with large-scale observability and performance frameworks.

  • Experience implementing automation for deployment, monitoring, and capacity management.

The base salary range for this role is $109,000 to $160,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

Our Workplace

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration
