Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities:  

• Architect, design, and develop Web UI for enterprise applications using Vue.JS or other frameworks;
• Apply proprietary knowledge and expertise of Javascript, HTML5 and CSS to develop highly reusable web applications;
• Analyze performance of frontend layers, and optimize code based on internal processes;
• Contribute to end to end architecture, working with cross functional teams;
• Utilize proprietary knowledge and tools to develop user interfaces for complex websites and applications;
• Implement UI and UX strategies based on business requirements;
• Work with UI designers and backend developers to deliver seamless user experience;
• Create and maintain unique UI technical designs including interface designs, wireframes and mockups;
• Convert mockups to cross browser HTML, CSS, Javascript templates;
• Collaborate with backend engineers to finalize APIs;
• Automate UI testing using Selenium or other specialized tools; and
• Implement accessibility features in web application while creating UI coding standards, and performing code reviews.

What we're looking for:

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or a foreign degree equivalent;
• Must have 2 years of experience in job offered or related occupation;
• Must have 2 years of experience in Javascript Programming;
• Must have 2 years of experience in Vue.js, React.js, or other frameworks;
• Must have 2 years of experience in Node.js, RESTful APIs;
• Must have 2 years of experience in typescript, HTML5, CSS3;
• Must have 2 years of experience in accessibility Implementation;
• Must have 2 years of experience in test Automation of Web Applications;
• Must have 2 years of experience in performance monitoring and improvements;
• Must have 2 years of experience in creating UI usage matrix and dashboards;
• Must have 2 years of experience in employing accessible design concepts;
• Must have 2 years of experience in designing and/or maintaining a design system;
• Must have 2 years of experience in data-driven design;
• Must have 2 years of experience in A/B testing; and
• Must have 2 years of experience in user Research.
• Telecommuting work arrange permitted: position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Position requires no domestic or international travel.

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
