About the Opportunity: A Strategic Role with High ImpactAs a SDET at Invoca, you will be a key architect of our quality strategy. You will collaborate with teams across the organization to tackle complex testing challenges, evaluate and implement best-in-class tools, and champion a culture where quality is a shared responsibility. How You'll Make an Impact:Shape Our Quality Strategy: You will provide technical leadership, mentor other engineers, and drive improvements in our testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
Architect Our Testing Infrastructure: You will design and develop robust, scalable automated test frameworks and create the strategies for test environments and data needed to support complex, cross-team initiatives.
Drive Performance and Scalability: You'll lead the charge on performance, load, and stress testing to identify bottlenecks, analyze results, and ensure our systems are built for scale.
Champion a Culture of Quality: You will act as a subject matter expert, collaborating across teams to integrate testing seamlessly into the development lifecycle and using metrics to drive continuous improvement.
We are looking for a collaborative and strategic thinker who is excited to solve complex testing challenges.
Deep Experience in Quality: 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on test automation (SDET).
Strong Programming Foundations: Proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails is highly desired.
Expertise in Test Automation: Extensive experience designing and building test automation frameworks and using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.
DevOps & CI/CD Fluency: A deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Performance Testing Knowledge: Hands-on experience with performance and scalability testing tools and methodologies (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Exceptional Collaboration Skills: The ability to communicate clearly and partner effectively with developers, product managers, and operations engineers.
Analytical Mindset: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems.
Bonus points for experience with:
Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Position Base Range - Salary Range $139,000 - $208,000/ plus bonus potential
