Currently, we’re looking for a Software Development Engineer IV - Test who will join one of our full-stack teams to help define, create, and deliver innovative new features that bring advanced digital advertising functionality to publishers and advertisers on the Open Web.

The team is using the following technologies:

Frontend: JS/TS, React, Material UI
API: Javascript/Python, GraphQL/REST
Backend: Python, Java, Go
CICD: Google Cloud Build, Spinnaker 
Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform

We are using the Agile framework with an open-minded attitude to adapt the process to our needs. Within the team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with developers and other SDETs focusing on different domains (both frontend and backend), as well as making impactful changes to our tools and processes to improve the developer experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work in a focused and nimble team that collaborates on common problems across products and across focus areas.
  • Own components, processes, and workflows that demand professionalism, excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
  • Monitor and maintain CI pipelines, and collaborate on CD enablement.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of issues and provide solutions for better coverage and maintainability.
  • Effectively communicate and participate as a crucial member of both the DevEx team and QA organization.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of automation strategies, frameworks, and infrastructure.
  • Set and drive coding standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in test automation, development, and CI/CD.
  • Focus on TestOps and DevOps practices to support testing infrastructure, developer productivity, and deployment workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to enhance the developer experience and streamline software delivery.
  • Apply and explore AI tools and test strategies to improve automation and testing efficiency.

Required experience:

  • 8+ years of test automation experience
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with full-stack testing, including both UI/UX and API layers
  • Willingness to work with new programming languages and technologies
  • Ability to improve, debug, and maintain an automation framework codebase
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, testing techniques, and quality assurance principles
  • Hands-on experience designing and maintaining complex CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Google Cloud Build, Spinnaker, GitHub Actions, or similar, including multi-environment build and deployment workflows
  • Proven ability to advance TestOps and DevOps maturity across teams by implementing scalable build, test, and release automation strategies that improve release velocity and reliability
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex issues
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities, with a track record of driving continuous improvement and innovation
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with a focus on improving developer experience

Desirable experience:

  • Proficiency in Python or Go
  • Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker
  • Proven ability to scale SDLC processes and automation practices across multiple teams
  • Hands-on experience with modern test frameworks such as Pytest, Cypress, Go test, or Playwright
  • Familiarity with advertising technologies and the digital advertising ecosystem
  • Background in application development, with an understanding of developer workflows and integration points
  • Knowledge of strategies and frameworks for testing AI and machine learning models
