We are seeking a Software Development Coordinator to join our team. This role organizes and drives progress of development and releases on projects of all sizes, version upgrades, and support development. Achievement in this role directly contributes to tangible, high impact results for the organization as a whole.

What will you do?  

  • Organize and facilitate the flow of development and testing work across development, testing, and support teams 

  • Coordinate with project and support teams to ensure alignment on prioritization, schedules, and escalation 

  • Facilitate and drive the release planning, preparation, and execution process 

  • Monitor and report on current state of development activities relative to established deadlines including:  

  • Project development and testing progress 

  • Support ticket development and testing progress 

  • Version upgrades  

  • Release schedule and preparation status 

  • Establish close working relationships with team members involved in projects and production support  

  • Improve product understanding by attending training, using the application, and communicating with customer-facing and development teams 

What skills and experience do we expect you to have?  

  • Detail oriented and highly organized 

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal 

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects at the same time 

  • 2+ years or more of experience in information systems projects or other projects of substantial complexity 

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams toward task completion 

  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Jira (or other development tracking tools)  

  • Strong grasp of version control, regression testing, and release management best practices to support reliable and efficient software delivery 

  • Associates/bachelor’s degree in a business or technical area

At Movemedical, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. The salary range is expected to be $60,000-$70,000 USD for this position and will vary based on your qualifications and job-related experience level.
