Department OverviewThe purpose of the Configuration Analyst role is to review the different options within any solution pack product and determine the best way to modify the software to meet user needs. This includes monitoring and troubleshooting, when necessary, of the product. Typically, the analyst works closely with the team of Implementation Consultants.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Implementation Consultants to configure Noggin software based on project deliverables, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Monitor and troubleshoot daily tasks, events, and system changes to ensure smooth operations.
Reproduce, test, resolve, and document software bugs, defects, and issues.
Write internal knowledge base articles and customer service materials.
Evaluate current systems to identify and implement necessary updates or adjustments.
Validate system changes by conducting thorough configuration testing.
Train users on new system functionalities and provide ongoing support.
Stay updated on current technologies and technical advancements.
Maintain accurate time tracking to meet an 80% billable target.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Basic understanding of software development processes and system configuration.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and user training.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and testing practices.
Familiarity with time tracking tools and meeting billable hour requirements is a plus.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor degree with 0+ years of software/technology support experience
OR 2+ years of software/technology support experience
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer.
