Position Overview
We are looking for a visionary Software Architect who thrives on driving innovation, enhancing engineering practices, and fostering growth across teams. This role requires technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a dedication to advancing processes and aligning technology with organizational goals.

What You'll Do: 

  • Continuous Learning & Team Engagement: Stay ahead of industry trends, encourage meaningful discussions on emerging engineering practices, and bring a sense of curiosity to your work. Inspire active participation from diverse team members and ensure shared understanding of complex topics. 
  • Engineering Leadership: Introduce cutting-edge technologies while maintaining cohesive, scalable architectures. Strike a balance between innovation and consistency, helping teams achieve technical excellence without compromising product timelines. 
  • Architectural Strategy: Design modern solutions across various technologies, leveraging your depth in programming languages, frameworks, and tech stacks. Break down monolithic systems while keeping projects aligned with organizational roadmaps. 
  • Improving Processes: Identify opportunities to refine workflows for greater efficiency and adaptability. Consider the broader impact of new technologies and processes to ensure long-term success. 
  • Technical Mentorship: Elevate engineering teams through insightful coaching and expertise in design patterns, domain-driven design, and practical application techniques. Lead by example, sharing knowledge and empowering others to excel.

  • A pragmatic decision-maker who weighs benefits and drawbacks thoughtfully, ensuring sound outcomes for the business and engineering teams alike. 

Desired Experience & Skills: 

  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and technical stacks. 
  • Solid grasp of domain-driven design principles and engineering design patterns. 
  • Proven success in decomposing legacy systems and transitioning to modern architectures without losing focus on product roadmaps. 
  • Expertise in fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and excellence within diverse engineering teams. 
  • Experience creating concise documentation that prioritizes actionable progress over exhaustive detail. 

Special Work Conditions    

  • Sedentary – Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Some positions may entail exerting up to 15 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, or pull.

Compensation is commensurate with various factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, training, licensure, certifications, geographic cost of labor, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation range for candidates in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. The compensation range for this position is: $170,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year.
