The Social Media/Multimedia Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that align with our clients’ overall marketing goals. This role requires a creative thinker with a strong understanding of various social media platforms, as well as expertise in multimedia creation and production, particularly in using video camera and podcast equipment. The ideal candidate will engage our audience, promote our, and our clients’ brand, and contribute to lead generation through compelling video and audio content. 

Your Impact:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, audio) across all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Utilize video camera and podcast equipment to produce high-quality video content and podcasts that highlight company initiatives, client testimonials, and industry insights.
  • Monitor social media trends and emerging platforms to ensure the company stays ahead of the curve.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Analyze and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments, and manage community interactions to foster a positive online presence.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and competitor activities in the insurance and financial services sectors.

Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Production, or a related field. 
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management and content creation, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry. 
  • Proficiency in multimedia creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Canva) and social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer). 
  • Strong skills in operating video camera and podcast equipment, with experience in video editing and audio production. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

At One80 Intermediaries, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings, and 10 days of paid time off and 11 paid holidays for eligible employees. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected annual pay range for this position is $51,800 to $75,000 plus discretionary bonus. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
