The Opportunity:
We are looking for a full-time temporary Social Media Video Producer for 3-6 months with a creative soul and passion for storytelling. They are able to connect with audiences on our social and digital platforms by creating original photo and video content for our digital marketing team. They are able to work both individually and with a team to produce, shoot, and edit content that is optimized for our various social and digital platforms including, but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. This person is as passionate about storytelling as they are hungry to deliver content that reflects current trends while establishing a unique brand voice that is engaging to audiences.
What you will do at VeSync:
- Create captivating photos and short-form video content for audiences on social and digital platforms
- Lead and direct the pre-production steps for assigned projects with the team to ensure cohesive and effective productions
- Initiate original concepts for social content in collaboration with the brand and digital marketing teams
- Produce, storyboard, shoot, and edit original content both individually and by leveraging internal and external resources
- Generate scripts, shot lists, and gear lists as needed and coordinate meetings to communicate creative direction to relevant teams involved
- Utilize both the internal studio and location scouting to provide an appropriate setting for photo and video content, providing practical and cost-effective solutions
- Transport, set up, and operate studio equipment including, but not limited to: cameras, microphones, lighting, cables, etc.
- Manage on-set crew during shoots as needed
- Optimize photo and video content by size, style, and content to fit the unique needs of different social media and digital advertising platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Google Ads
- Work with the digital marketing team in tracking the performance of social and digital content produced by Creative Services
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a video producer and/or editor in social media
- A natural-born storyteller with a passion for creativity
- A high-quality portfolio with examples of both photo and video social media content
- Proven experience shooting content via mobile phones and professional production equipment and editing social content on social media platforms (Instagram Reels and TikTok)
- General knowledge of social media trends and best practices
- Demonstrated project and time management skills to multitask and prioritize creative assets, delivering under short deadlines
- Excellent knowledge of professional video cameras, photography equipment, lighting equipment, and editing software
- Advanced knowledge of both photo and video editing software (Adobe CC preferred)
- Experience in motion graphics preferred (Adobe AfterEffects)
- Strong ability to apply advanced principles of photography in studio and location shoots
- Experience producing and shooting both individually and in coordination with a team
- Able to work in a diverse, collaborative environment with openness to feedback
- Proficient with both Mac and PC operating systems
