What We Do

At Outsource Access, we help a thriving family-run home services group in Charleston, South Carolina scale their brand visibility across plumbing, trenchless pipelining, and residential handyman/remodeling services. We don't just edit videos and schedule social media posts—we make sure our clients build undeniable market authority, engage their local community, and drive inbound lead growth through high-quality, strategic storytelling.

How You’ll Make a Difference
  • Stopping the Scroll: You will turn raw photos and video footage into high-performing, scroll-stopping content—including shorts, reels, and standard posts—across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Google Business Profile (GBP) for three distinct brands.

  • Owning the Brand Narrative: You will take creative control by independently building and managing the content calendar while designing engaging social graphics, flyers, and promotional assets using Canva or Adobe that strictly adhere to existing brand guidelines.

  • Building Local Authority: You will actively foster community trust by handling comments and DMs, identifying and posting in relevant local Facebook groups, and supporting basic SEO and backlink health tied to GBP to generate organic inbound leads.

  • Driving Real-World Connections: You will research and coordinate local trade show and networking opportunities (such as Alignable, BNI, and Chamber of Commerce events) by handling outreach, event registrations, scheduling, and sponsorship correspondence.

RequirementsIs This You?
  • The Creative Strategist: You have proven hands-on experience in social media management, graphic design, and video editing (backed by a strong portfolio of work samples), and you aren't afraid to bring fresh ideas, professional judgment, and constructive opinions to the table.

  • The Autonomous Owner: You thrive in a low-oversight environment and are excited to transition from close approval-based work during onboarding to independently owning the marketing strategy as a genuine thought partner—with the ambition to grow into a future marketing supervisor role.

  • The Brand Chameleon: You are detail-oriented and comfortable managing three distinct companies under one ownership group simultaneously, effortlessly adapting your content style to represent the unique tone and credibility of the home services and trades industry.

  • Tech-Savvy: You have a solid working knowledge of Meta Business Suite, Google Workspace, and Google Business Profile management, and you are comfortable communicating directly with the business owner primarily via WhatsApp.

  • Your Home Office: You have a reliable personal computer capable of handling professional-grade design and video editing workloads in a BYOD setup, paired with a stable, high-speed internet connection and a quiet work-from-home environment aligned with Eastern Time business hours.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
