About Us

Meirowitz & Wasserberg, LLP, is a trial law firm dedicated to helping injured people get the justice they deserve. We have offices in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, North Carolina, Illinois, Florida, California, and Texas. We only represent people—not corporations. Our nationwide practice affords us the opportunity to make a difference on a broad scale, and we are looking for colleagues who share our passion.

About the Role

The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator is a hands-on, creative, and proactive member of the firm responsible for enhancing the firm’s marketing and brand visibility, online presence, and client engagement. This role requires someone who can independently identify opportunities to promote the firm, create and manage multimedia content, and bring fresh, innovative ideas to how the firm markets itself both to the public and to existing clients.

The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter with a strong design, film editing and writing background, 2–3 years of experience in marketing or media, and the ability to take ownership of projects from concept to publication with minimal supervision. This role will first report directly to the firm Partners, with oversight from the Operations Lead for daily functions.

You Will:

    • Create and edit videos, graphics, and other marketing materials for use on social media, website, and client-facing communications.
    • Coordinate client video testimonials, including scheduling, filming, editing, and posting.
    • Capture and share firm events, office activities, and client milestones.
    • Manage social media content and posting schedules across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok.
    • Develop and maintain templates and visual assets that align with firm branding and partner preferences.
    • Research and coordinate media and publicity opportunities, such as best of workplace competitions and legal or business features.
    • Link firm articles, news mentions, and press releases to the website and ensure consistent updates.
    • Support internal marketing efforts, including client appreciation initiatives.
    • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to identify marketing moments, coordinate filming, and capture firm culture.
    • Partner with outside freelancers like videographers or photographers for larger projects.
    • Track marketing projects and ensure deadlines are met and escalate concerns when schedules or deliverables fall behind.

You Have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Design, Media, or a related field.
    • 2–3 years of experience in marketing, media production, or digital content creation.
    • Strong creative, writing, and storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging and professional content.
    • Experience with video filming and editing, graphic design, and social media management.
    • Proficiency in tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro.
    • Strong understanding of online marketing best practices and how to attract engagement.
    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
    • A proactive mindset: able to identify what’s needed and take initiative to get it done.
    • This role requires someone who can jump in, take ownership, and run with ideas. This position requires a creative, resourceful, and highly self-motivated individual who is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, seeking guidance for approvals or strategic direction directly from the Partners.

Benefits

    • Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Plans
    • Paid Time Off
    • Commuter Transit Program
    • Retirement Plan

The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
