Job Summary:

The Manager, Social Media is responsible for setting the direction and leading execution of Clear Channel Outdoors’s B2B social media activities, content development, and influencer engagement to drive awareness, interest, and demand among advertisers, agencies, and marketing decision-makers. This role owns the long-term vision and day-to-day management of Clear Channel Outdoors’s corporate social media presence, with a primary focus on organic social media and content-driven engagement.
This position serves as the central point of accountability for social media at Clear Channel Outdoor—developing compelling, insight-led content; strengthening brand storytelling; establishing performance benchmarks; and identifying opportunities to engage relevant B2B influencers and industry voices to extend reach, credibility, and measurable business impact. The role works in close partnership with the Director of Corporate Communications, senior marketing and sales stakeholders, and the company’s external PR and communications agency, providing strategic counsel and ensuring alignment with broader corporate objectives.

                                                                                                    

Job Responsibilities

  • In close collaboration with Corporate Communications and Marketing leadership, develop, lead, and continuously optimize Clear Channel’s B2B social media strategy and programs

  • Own and oversee day-to-day implementation and governance of Clear Channel’s content across primary social media platforms, with emphasis on LinkedIn and Instagram

  • Lead end-to-end production of social media content, including text, photography, and video content, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and business priorities

  • Partner with internal teams and external agencies to develop thought leadership and content initiatives that communicate Clear Channel’s differentiated solutions, insights, and results delivered for customers and partners

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage relevant B2B influencer opportunities and relationships to expand reach and industry credibility

  • Own and manage the editorial content calendar, establishing clear KPIs and delivering regular performance reporting with actionable insights

  • Ensure brand voice, visual consistency, and messaging standards across all platforms

  • Provide strategic recommendations to leadership based on social listening, analytics, and industry trends

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

Education:

  • BS/BA required; advanced degree a plus  or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience

Work Experience:

  • 5+ years of progressive B2B social media or content marketing experience, preferably within advertising, media, ad tech, or MarTech organizations, with demonstrated ownership of strategy and measurable performance outcomes

Skills:

  • Deep expertise in B2B social strategy, particularly leveraging social media and content marketing to drive demand for advertising and/or media-related services

  • Experience producing short-form B2B video content using contemporary production tools and agile approaches to capitalize on marketplace developments, trends, and opportunities

  • Strong understanding of trends, developments, and transformation within the media industry and implications for media sales organizations and marketers; knowledge of OOH media a plus

  • Strong storytelling capabilities and editorial judgment

  • Proficiency in analytics, KPI development, and performance reporting to inform strategic decision-making

  • Strong project management skills, with ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities

Physical Demands:

The demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

  • Ability to sit and/or stand at a desk for a minimum of 8 hours per day and perform tasks requiring repetitive hand use

  • Ability to view written documents and computer screens and adjust focus as needed

  • Work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment

The Targeted Compensation Range for this New York position is:
Min: $72,000
Max: $93,000

Bonus eligible, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.

Ultimate compensation will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, skills, scope and responsibility of the position, as well as pursuant to salary market benchmarks. This salary range is a good-faith estimate of the salary for this position.
