Position Overview
As a Social Media Manager, you will provide critical support to fulfilling the mission of Zero Studios with an opportunity to help challenge and define best practices. This is a hybrid social role sitting between strategy, analytics, community and project management. You are a socially-native operator who owns community and reporting, surfaces cultural and platform insights, and partners with strategists and clients to evolve social-first creative and strategy. An entrepreneurial spirit and proactive, business-oriented focus are paramount.
This mid-level role is ideal for someone who thrives on supporting social media workflows, storytelling through analytics, building communities, and driving measurable brand impact through social. You’ll serve as a day-to-day client partner, leading social execution while balancing creativity, data, and business objectives.

Roles & ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Execution
- Translate strategy into actionable plans with clear KPIs
- Monitor social and cultural trends to keep content relevant
- Collaborate cross-functionally to bring social-first ideas to life
- Adapt plans based on performance insights and client feedback
- Support timeline development to ensure projects are on-time and on-budget
Client & Internal Collaboration
- Support Account Leads and Project Managers client calls, status updates, and social-specific reviews
- Communicate clearly, proactively, and professionally
- Manage client feedback, translating notes into actionable insight for strategy/creative teams
- Align with internal strategy, creative, and PM teams to ensure delivery
- Integrate social work into the broader marketing strategy for long-term retainer clients
- Possess strong organizational and project management instincts and confident ability to support high-volume projects
Publishing, Engagement & Reporting
- Schedule and publish content across platforms
- Monitor channels for engagement opportunities
- Manage comments and DMs in brand voice
- Compile organic reports, pull analytics, collaborate with paid social media team, and present findings to internal and client teams
Content Development
- Collaborate with creative team to produce static, video, and interactive content
- Support socially-native shoot production
- Coordinate asset review and approval flows
- Coordinate asset handoff with paid social media team
Creator & Influencer Management
- Support on casting, outreach, and negotiation with creators/influencers
- Manage contracts, usage rights, and deliverables
- Maintain relationships with trusted creators
- Review and manage feedback on creator content
- Report on influencer campaign performance
- Monthly Organic/Campaigns are executed on brief, on time, and on brand
- You bring proactive ideas to the table
- You spot problems early and solve them collaboratively
- You embody ownership, clarity, and communication in your work
- Prior agency experience preferred
- Reporting to the Marketing & Social Director
Working Location
- Zero has physical studio spaces in Brooklyn and Milwaukee. Staff are expected to occasionally work in these locations during the work week. Additional details can be discussed during the interview process.
- Annual salary range between $50,000 - $75,000 determined by experience and seniority level
