Join a company that is at the forefront of how AI is reshaping life and industry, and a marketing organization that supports the Nebius corporate vision. You’ll join a team that is passionately focused on data and advanced methods of customer acquisition, persona targeting and best-in-class storytelling, and a culture of excellence that values experimentation and creative problem-solving.

The role

We are looking for a creative Video-First Social Media Creator (Machine Learning) to join the team that creates content for Nebius social media pages and blogs. Our core audience consists of ML engineers, CTOs, startup founders, AI researchers and technical managers.

You’re welcome to work remotely from the United States.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Crafting sharp narratives, independently creating and publishing concise texts in line with the approved strategy and style guide, and with the broader story you’re telling in mind, ensuring that each content piece contributes to it.
  • Briefing the design team according to the nuances of each platform.
  • Managing freelancers and other contractors.

We expect you to have:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in achieving these goals: you were the main person responsible for managing company pages and meeting KPIs.
  • A deep understanding of how ranking works on LinkedIn and X (Twitter), how to achieve business goals on these platforms and what has the greatest impact on success.
  • Hands-on experience in video recording and editing.
  • Portfolio of viral short videos shot by yourself, experience in outlining tech-related video plots and campaigns.
  • Multi-year experience working with development and/or technical product teams and communities.
  • Experience working with creative professionals.
  • Experience working with and building influencers through SMM.
  • Proven ability to understand complex technologies.
  • Portfolio of texts about machine learning or other advanced technologies.
  • Native English speaker with global exposure to linguistic nuances and diverse cultures.
  • You are your own proofreader.
  • Experience with the basic features of Photoshop and Figma.

It will be an added bonus if you have:

  • Experience in performance marketing, managing ad accounts and launching campaigns.
  • Programming experience.
  • Experience in community management.
  • Experience passing technical interviews.
  • Experience launching IT products.
  • Experience with HubSpot.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
