Program Dates: June 1, 8, or 15, 2026 – August 28, 2026

Start and end dates are flexible. Interns must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) in person at the designated office location.

Our Emerging Talent Programs — including Internships and Trainee roles — provide hands-on opportunities for students and early-career professionals to contribute to the teams behind our film, television, and entertainment experiences.

These paid, seasonal assignments deliver meaningful, high-impact work designed to accelerate your growth.

You’ll take on real responsibilities, build practical skills, and gain exposure to the business through structured learning, executive engagement, and networking opportunities.

Our internship program is designed for students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, as well as individuals seeking to deepen their education through immersive, professional experience in the entertainment industry.

We work for the Brand Creative & Digital Marketing Team, as part of Sony Pictures Television. Our team supports the Game Show Group, and we work across several different lanes/workflows - Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, Raid the Cage, and any other property currently in development.

Our intern will assist the Social & Digital team in all aspects of bringing social and digital content to life, as well as oversee small creative projects and really learn the digital ropes. Day-to-day responsibilities might include:

  • Identify and share emerging platform trends, memes, and sounds — especially those resonating with Gen Z and Gen Alpha audiences

  • Pitch creative video and long/short-form concepts tailored for Wheel and Jeopardy! across TikTok, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, and Snapchat Spotlight, also help develop “social-first” ideas and creator-style content that resonates with new, digital-first audiences

  • Assist with day-to-day scheduling and posting across official show accounts and participate in community management — engaging with fans, surfacing fun fan moments, and identifying organic amplification opportunities

  • Pull and organize platform analytics to help track content performance and audience trends and explore new ways to measure virality, discoverability, and audience growth on short-form platforms

  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for the social team, helping inform future creative and posting strategy

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Deeply immersed in TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, and the broader social ecosystem;

  • Passionate about pop culture, internet trends, and digital storytelling;

  • Interested in both the art and science of social — from editing short-form videos to analyzing engagement metrics;

  • Self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced creative environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Create content for your own personal channels;

  • Have experience with analytics tools (YouTube Studio, TikTok Analytics, Dash Social, etc.);

  • Love Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, game shows in general or all of the above — and want to help reimagine them for the next generation

The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
