We are looking for an amazing human being to drive our social media efforts, which includes promoting our various owned and operated channels as well as working with our brand partners to maximize reach engagement. 

Social Media Coordinator

Location: United States, Remote 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Execute Men in Blazers social media strategy 
  • Create content for Men in Blazers social channels (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok) through the use of Adobe Photoshop, Instagram Edits, and additional software tools. 
  • Write emotionally intelligent, culturally relevant copy that channels the voice and tone of the brand and create visual content – photo and video – that resonates with the Men in Blazers Community. 
  • Play a part in the development and maintenance social media calendar, across both real-time (match days, tournaments, live events, etc), and pre-programmed content (episodic releases, partner commitments) 
  • Adapt real-time soccer news stories in a manner that is relevant and engaging across Men in Blazers social channels 
  • Ideate with stakeholders to add value to commercial partnerships through social channels 
  • Coordinate with internal and external resources to manage content development and timelines 
  • Daily monitoring, management, and maintenance of Men in Blazers channels and community. 
  • Use performance metrics to determine future opportunities for content optimization 
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned 

Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of social media experience with an eye for design and experience creating original content, and adapting existing content (TV Shows, Podcasts, etc.) for social media
  • Knowledge of soccer, soccer culture and a love of the game, globally. Must be able to translate this football knowledge into strong and accurate written content, chiefly captions for Instagram posts.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop image editing software.
  • Advanced knowledge of Instagram Edits video editing software as well as Adobe Premiere a plus.
  • Experience in pre-production, production and post-production workflows in various delivery formats
  • Ability to design and create social graphics and produce short-form videos
  • Knowledge of social media trends and high-level cultural moments spanning sports and entertainment 
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends, (this position will require working weekends to track football matches)
