About Arcade

Arcade is building the world's first AI-powered physical product creation platform, where imagination becomes reality. We bring together leading AI researchers and a global supply chain to give brands and manufacturers an unfair advantage at the two moments that matter most: when a product is born, and when a customer decides to buy it.

Arcade is headquartered in San Francisco's Presidio and led by serial entrepreneur Mariam Naficy (Founder of Minted) alongside a world-class team from Google, Apple, Stability AI, Sierra AI, Amazon, NVIDIA, LinkedIn, Stanford, MIT, Berkeley, Williams, and more. Our AI leadership includes pioneers behind DreamBooth, Stable Diffusion, and some of the industry's most advanced agentic AI systems.

We've raised $42M from an exceptional group of investors, including Reid Hoffman, Forerunner Ventures, Canaan Partners, Adverb Ventures, Factorial Funds, Offline Ventures, Sound Ventures, Inspired Capital, and Torch Capital.

The Role

We're looking for a highly creative and curious Social Media & Content Marketing Intern to help grow Arcade's brand and social presence. Arcade’s tools can be used by both consumers and by ecommerce brands, and this role offers a unique opportunity to learn both B2B and B2C marketing motions. This role sits at the intersection of AI, design, commerce, culture, and storytelling.

You'll work closely with Marketing, Product, and Design to create compelling social content, support product launches, identify emerging trends, and find new ways to inspire people to design and create physical products with AI.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who wants to learn how an early-stage technology company builds a brand from the ground up. You'll have the opportunity to experiment, create, and see your work go directly from idea to publication.

What You'll Do
  • Help create and execute Arcade's social media content across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, X, and other emerging platforms.

  • Create engaging short-form videos, social posts, and other content that showcases Arcade's products and AI capabilities, for use externally as well as onsite in support documentation.

  • Monitor cultural, consumer, design, and social media trends and identify opportunities for Arcade to participate in relevant conversations.

  • Support product launches, seasonal collections, campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.

  • Help develop and maintain Arcade's social media and content calendar.

  • Work with the Design and Product teams to turn new products and features into compelling stories.

  • Research creators, influencers, brands, and communities that could help expand Arcade's reach.

  • Assist with creator and influencer outreach and partnerships.

  • Help manage and organize content assets and creative workflows.

  • Track social media performance and engagement and help identify what content is resonating with our audience.

  • Experiment with AI-powered creative tools to develop new content formats and ideas.

  • Bring fresh ideas for how Arcade can build its community and become a culturally relevant consumer brand.

What We're Looking For
  • Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, business, design, art history, economics, media, journalism, applied mathematics, statistics, or another relevant field.

  • Strong interest in social media, content, consumer brands, design, culture, and emerging technology.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

  • Excellent project management skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.

  • A strong creative instinct and an understanding of what makes content engaging.

  • Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, or X.

  • Interest or experience creating short-form video, graphics, photography, or other digital content.

  • Comfortable learning tools such as Canva, CapCut, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.

  • Curious, proactive, and excited to experiment.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities can change quickly.

  • A portfolio, personal social account, school project, or examples of content you've created is a plus.

Nice to Have
  • Experience running or contributing to a social media account, school publication, club, organization, or personal creative project.

  • Experience with short-form video editing.

  • Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools.

  • Interest in fashion, home décor, e-commerce, consumer products, or design.

  • Experience creating content for a brand, student organization, startup, or personal project.

Why Arcade
  • Hands-on experience at the intersection of AI, creativity, design, and commerce.

  • Work alongside world-class AI researchers, engineers, designers, and entrepreneurs.

  • Learn directly from an experienced startup leadership team.

  • Work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced startup environment.

Additional Information
  • Competitive compensation

  • Catered lunch daily by our private chef

  • Company events

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
