  • Capture and edit video content specifically optimized for short-form platforms like TikTok and Reels.

  • Write compelling social content that aligns with Filevine’s brand voice and specific executive voices for thought leadership.

  • Ensure all messaging is value-driven, clear, and visually appealing to drive maximum engagement.

  • 2) Execution & Publishing

  • Execute the overarching social media strategy through consistent planning, creating, and publishing.

  • Maintain the social media editorial calendar to ensure a stable and sustainable publishing cadence.

  • Handle the technical side of content optimization, ensuring every post is formatted for its specific platform.

  • 3) Community & Advocacy Management

  • Monitor and manage community engagement to ensure the brand remains responsive and human.

  • Run and support brand advocacy programs to increase organic reach and employee participation.

  • Maintain feedback loops with internal teams to manage sentiment and community insights.

  • 4) Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively across departments (marketing, brand, events, partners, etc..) to ensure content supports broader business goals.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to translate complex legal tech or AI concepts into digestible social content.

  • Manage the full content lifecycle: from initial ideation and creation to final review and publishing.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Filevine’s social channels feature high-quality, platform-native assets that feel cohesive and professional.

  • The executive voice is clearly established and respected on platforms like LinkedIn.

  • Engagement metrics show steady growth due to optimized, value-driven content.

  • Content production workflows are highly organized, repeatable, and scalable.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in content creation, social media execution, or creative production, preferably for B2B or SaaS brands.

  • Exceptional Video Skills: Proven ability to capture and edit high-quality video content.

  • Design & Writing: Strong portfolio demonstrating elevated design aesthetics and the ability to write in a specific brand/executive voice.

  • Platform Mastery: Deep understanding of how to optimize content for LinkedIn, Meta, X, and TikTok.

  • Highly Organized: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high creative standards.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
