Role: Social Content Manager
Employment Type: 1099 Contractor, 20-40 hours per week
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
About the Role: 
We're looking for a creative, strategic, and fast-moving Social Media & Content Manager to work with our influencers and take their online presence to the next level. This contract position is ideal for someone who lives and breathes content, stays ahead of social media trends, and knows how to turn raw footage into attention-grabbing posts that engage, grow, and convert.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage and publish content across multiple platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and more
  • Create engaging, platform-optimized content, including short-form videos, reels, and stories
  • Edit video clips quickly and effectively using mobile or desktop editing tools
  • Understand and adapt to the latest social media trends and algorithm changes
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with marketing and brand objectives
  • Track analytics and engagement, and adjust strategy based on performance data
  • Work with other creatives, clients, or teams to ensure brand consistency and voice

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts (personal or professional) with a track record of growth and engagement
  • Strong knowledge of platform-specific algorithms, trends, and best practices
  • Proficient in video editing tools (short form and long form)
  • Ability to turn around high-quality content quickly and independently
  • Strong communication skills, creativity, and a sense of humor
  • Comfortable working as a contractor, managing time and deliverables independently

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with basic graphic design or motion graphics
  • Understanding of brand voice and visual storytelling
  • Familiarity with influencer or creator economy trends
  • Familiarity with Twitch.tv and/or livestreaming platforms
