We’re looking for an experienced Social Commerce Content Strategist with deep expertise in conversion-focused social content for U.S. parent and family audiences. This is a project-based consulting role focused on defining the strategy and roadmap that our internal team will execute. The key objective is to help our client drive website visits and sales conversions from social content — without relying on native in-platform shops (Meta Shops, TikTok Shop, etc).

Responsibilities
  • Develop a social commerce content strategy that maximizes traffic and sales from Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Define the organic content pillars and creative formats most likely to engage and convert U.S. parent audiences.
  • Identify the content journey that moves audiences from engagement → website visit → purchase.
  • Advise on how to integrate paid and influencer content to amplify reach and performance.
  • Analyze competitor approaches and U.S. parent consumer behaviors to inform data-backed recommendations.
  • Design a framework for testing and measuring POS (point-of-sale) impact.
  • Provide actionable guidance for creative teams to translate strategy into measurable results.

Requirements
  • Proven track record in social commerce content strategy for consumer brands.
  • Experience targeting or converting U.S. parent/family audiences.
  • Strong understanding of Meta and TikTok ecosystems, especially traffic-driving and conversion tools.
  • Ability to translate insights into clear, actionable content roadmaps.
  • Experience developing and analyzing conversion and POS performance.
  • Excellent communication and consulting skills — comfortable leading the strategy and advising brand and creative teams.
Other Details
  • Duration: 1–3 months (project-based).
  • Hours: Part-time, up to 30 hrs/week.
In your submission, please include:
  • Your CV.
  • Portfolio or Case studies of successfully executed social commerce rollouts.

Benefits
  • Flexible Work Options: Work from home, your favorite café, or anywhere that sparks your creativity. Enjoy the freedom with remote work options that fit your lifestyle.
  • Creative Vibes and an International Team: 80% of our employees are creators working from 70+ countries, producing awesome content for billions of followers worldwide.
  • Tech-savvy Culture:An ecosystem that sparks innovation, embraces the latest tools, promotes transparent task management, and empowers flexible collaboration—no time constraints or meetings, just results!
  • Seamless Operations: An ecosystem that fuels new ideas, promotes transparent task management, empowers flexible collaboration without time constraints or meetings—no red tape, just results!

Due to the high volume of applications received, we may not be able to respond to every applicant. However, if your qualifications align with our requirements, we will contact you to discuss the next steps in the selection process.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
