BrightHire is a category-creating, high-growth, Series B software company with a mission to give everyone the hiring experience they deserve.

We deliver on this mission by transforming the way many of the world’s leading companies build exceptional teams. We created the Interview Intelligence category, and our clients include some of the world’s most innovative companies—Canva, OpenAI, Ramp, Hubspot—up to the Fortune 500.

BrightHire is seeking a Marketing Lead to own and drive our customer evangelism and social presence – two of the most important and successful pillars of our marketing strategy.

This is a new, unique, and high-impact role where you will be the connective tissue between our customers, brand, and public voice.

This isn't just about churning out case studies or managing a social media account; it's about crafting and driving the strategy that turns our deep community of raving fans into a growth flywheel through constant engagement, amplification of their success stories, channeling their thought leadership, cultivation of a community through intimate events, and ensuring they are bought in on BrightHire’s long-term success.

The core of this role is to build deep relationships with our customers and turn their success into powerful social proof. You will be responsible for a critical growth lever for BrightHire- driving top-of-funnel momentum through creative storytelling and community building. We're a lean, tight-knit team, which means you will have significant ownership of key strategies and be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy to achieve transformative results.

Individual compensation will be determined by the candidate's experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do:
  • Customer Evangelism: Build, cultivate, and engage our community of brand evangelists - including customers, users, advisors, and influencers—to create compelling content and social proof. You will be the engine behind our customer growth.
  • Social Media: Own and execute the LinkedIn content strategy, specifically by harnessing our customer community to drive substantial awareness for BrightHire and our co-founders.
  • Content Creation: Own the end-to-end production of smart, creative, and engaging short-form and multimedia content – particularly amplification of voice of the customer and thought leadership. You will be expected to be highly self-sufficient, using modern tools and AI to create high-quality content optimized for social engagement.
  • Customer Engagement: Constantly celebrate our community by recognizing their wins and delivering delight through kudos, swag, and personalized moments.
  • Community & Events: Help us execute an impactful field marketing strategy by driving logistics and coordination for in-person events designed to engage our community and strengthen relationships.
What You'll Bring:
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing with hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas: social, content, customer, and community marketing.
  • Track record of creating high-performing content across various formats (long and short-form written, social, video, etc.).
  • Experience building a digital following and community, ideally for a B2B technology/SaaS brand.
  • Strong writing and editorial skills.
  • A reputation for taking extreme ownership, finding ways to improve, and going the extra mile.
  • A track record of navigating and successfully managing many simultaneous projects with ambiguity and executing autonomously at a high degree of quality.
  • You’re eager to roll up your sleeves, try new things, and stretch beyond your comfort zone across a wide range of marketing programs.
  • Experience in the HR and Talent space is a plus.
Benefits:
  • Meaningful equity
  • Fully paid health, dental and vision coverage
  • Generous budget for your ideal work environment
  • Unlimited PTO, with a minimum # of the days everyone must take :)
  • Annual learning stipend for courses, conferences, books, etc.
  • Monthly snack pantry delivered to your door
  • Our team is fully remote, spanning across North and South American time zones.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
