Job Description

We’re looking for individuals with a thirst for knowledge and excellent verbal and written communication skills to join our Security Operations Center. The ideal candidate has an exceptional work ethic, including attention to detail and accountability, and embraces working in high-pressure situations. They thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where they can adapt to evolving challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze threat types to determine the appropriate handling technique as well as the prevention of false positives

  • Aid in workflows as required including detecting, mitigating, and monitoring threats across a range of constantly evolving threat types

  • Partner with Customer Success and Engineering teams to fulfill needs of customers and initiatives

  • Proactively identify potential issues and suggest solutions to improve the efficiency of the team

  • Identify trends, insights, and relationships between internal and external data and intelligence sources to provide recommended risk mitigation

Experience & Qualifications

  • Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity concepts & principles (eg. threat detection, risk mitigation)

  • Willingness to learn in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment

  • Ability to adapt and rigorously prioritize initiatives

  • Scrappy, able to quickly stand up and iterate on stopgap solutions

  • Excellent writing and verbal skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team

  • Strong problem-solving skills (experience working on operational challenges a plus)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a cybersecurity or related field is preferred

  • Previous experience in a cybersecurity or related field is preferred
