Job Title: Site Expansion Specialist

Department: Site Expansion Department

Work Schedule:30-40 Hours/Week

Location: South Bay Area – Must be able to drive to prospective sites and local partners

 

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: $22 – $30 per hour

About Us:

Better Me is a fast-growing U.S.-based learning center brand focused on providing personalized math education through a practice-driven learning system. With proven success in the Bay Area, we are expanding our presence and looking for a Site Expansion Specialist to join our on-the-ground expansion efforts.

 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Expansion Specialist to support the identification, evaluation, and setup of new learning center locations. You will work closely with the Site Expansion Director and cross-functional teams to ensure each site aligns with our brand standards and operational needs.

 

Key Responsibilities:
📍 Site Scouting & Evaluation
  • Conduct in-person assessments of potential locations across the South Bay Area.
  • Evaluate site surroundings, accessibility, foot traffic, and neighborhood suitability.
  • Compile detailed site reports, photos, and site comparisons to support decision-making.
📝 Lease Coordination
  • Facilitate communication and scheduling with property owners and brokers.
  • Support lease negotiation efforts by discussions or preparation of necessary documentation (e.g., LOI).
🛠️ Renovation Support
  • Collaborate with contractors, signage vendors, and HQ teams to support site setup.
  • Track project milestones and provide and report updates throughout renovation and setup phases.
🤝 Local Coordination
  • Coordinate with local vendors and support community engagement as needed.
  • Identify and recommend local partnerships or event opportunities to support future marketing and brand activation initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Required:
  • Based locally in the South Bay Area and possess reliable tranportation methods
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to evaluate retail or educational spaces.
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
- Preferred:
  • Experience in real estate, retail operations, or education-related expansion.
  • Familiarity with site planning, tenant improvement, or construction coordination.
