BGS Commercial Training Solutions is seeking a Flight Simulation Technical Training Specialist to join the Miami Training Campus. This position will be responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training courses specifically designed for flight simulator technicians. The role requires a deep understanding of flight simulation systems, technical operations, instructional design, and effective training delivery.

This position is expected to work 100% onsite at the Miami, FL Boeing CTS Training Center. The selected candidate may also be required to travel periodically to various global locations, including but not limited to Gatwick, UK; Changi, Singapore; and Shanghai, China.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop comprehensive training programs for flight simulator technicians, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver high-quality training sessions utilizing diverse various instructional methods and technologies to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Coordinate training delivery by other trainers, subject matter experts (SMEs), technicians within our global SimOps community as well as external vendors.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to stay current with advancements in flight simulation technology and incorporate them into training materials. Leverage SME knowledge to address learning gaps within the team.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and certification status.
  • Oversee Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to analyze and track training progress, identifying training gaps and SMEs within our global SimOps teams.
  • Mentor and support junior technicians as well as interns or apprentices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the training team.
  • Participate in the development of training manuals, guides, and other instructional materials.
  • Periodically provide technical support and troubleshooting for flight simulation systems during pilot training sessions.

Required Qualifications:
  • Associates degree + 5 years related work experience or Bachelor's degree + 3 years of related work experience
  • In-depth knowledge of flight simulation systems, maintenance procedures, and technical operations.
  • Strong instructional design skills and experience with various training methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Proficient in using training software and simulation tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work on-site at the Miami Training Campus and support occasional travel to Boeing's other Training Campuses.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation Technology, or a related STEM field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in flight simulation technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering training in a professional capacity.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., FAA Certified Maintenance Technician) are a plus.

Summary pay range: $105,000 - 120,000
