Operate shot peening and finishing machinery for aerospace parts, monitor production, perform media testing, inspect parts, maintain equipment, support continuous improvement, and follow safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Compensation Range: $18.50 - $20.00 p/h
Location: Paramount CA
Schedule:7:00am - 3:30pm (Overtime and weekends as needed due to business needs)
Essential Responsibilities- Operate production machinery to enhance the surface finish of aerospace parts.
- Select and utilize the appropriate machines based on customer specifications and production requirements.
- Monitor production processes and proactively resolve issues related to materials, equipment, or workflow to minimize downtime.
- Perform daily testing to verify media size and shape.
- Process test specimens and provide samples to customers as required.
- Coordinate projects and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate production status, recovery timelines, and completion dates with Customer Service.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and submit maintenance requests for repairs when needed.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of aerospace manufacturing experience required.
