Revivn is a profitable and rapidly growing company that helps enterprises manage their technology through our end of life software platform. We take electronic recycling one step further by repurposing hardware that still has remaining life and providing it to people who lack dedicated computer access and make it more affordable for people who may not be able to purchase new technology. Working with companies like Instacart, Lyft, Qualtrics, X, Gensler, and Allbirds we are changing the way companies view used technology with a new model that focuses on repurposing instead of recycling.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to lead our Inbound and Outbound teams in a high-energy, fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is crucial to ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and seamless flow of orders through hands-on management and strategic leadership. The ideal candidate is passionate about people management, thrives in ambiguity, and excels at driving team performance while continually seeking process improvements.

This position is based full-time at our Brooklyn facility, which operates Monday-Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm (excluding company holidays). The team comprises inbound associates (receiving, sorting, serializing), and outbound associates (cleaning, photography, picking, packing, and shipping).

What you’ll do

  • Work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented business where accountability and getting the job done are critical to the organization's success
  • Build, supervise, and mentor facility teams, fostering a culture of empowerment, excellence, and loyalty
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently
  • Optimize layout and ensure efficient space utilization
  • Implement new systems and operational infrastructure that support growth and enhance efficiency
  • Drive multiple tasks with competing priorities, adapt to change, and take on new company initiatives with a positive attitude
  • Handle tough conversations with confidence, providing coaching, feedback, and mentorship to team members
  • Analyze KPIs, site metrics, and labor standards to develop actionable plans that drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety programs, including OSHA, DOT, and other compliance requirements

What we are looking for

  • A seasoned supervisor who excels at building and supervising warehouse teams who meet and exceed their goals
  • Performance-focused – cost, efficiency and driving revenue are all within your repertoire
  • A track record of having managed and implemented new systems and operational infrastructure to support growth and efficiency
  • Ability to create a culture of empowerment and excellence that encourages loyalty
  • Your leadership style has earned you a following of top talent who will go anywhere with you
  • A creative problem solver who sees every challenge as an opportunity to accelerate progress

About you

  • 3+ years of experience in leading, coaching, and developing teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment within a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, logistics or supply chain (preferred, but not required)
  • Knowledge of best practices in warehouse operations, including productivity improvement, cost reduction, inventory management, and labor management.
  • Experience with safety program compliance (OSHA,DOT,Compliance Programs) and warehouse ergonomics, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including the delivery of tough messages when necessary
  • Expertise in developing and implementing performance standards and metrics, including labor efficiency, quality benchmarks, employee productivity, and operational effectiveness
  • Strong experience in Inbound/Outbound logistics and transportation management

Working Conditions

  • This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Brooklyn facility
  • Requires frequent time on the production floor and hands-on engagement with teams
  • Must be able to lift, move, or handle materials as needed and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Occasional travel for training or cross-site collaboration may be required

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
