About the Role:

As a SharePoint Developer at Connexus, you will be part of a talented team that demonstrates superb technical competency while delivering mission critical applications. You will ensure the highest levels of SharePoint availability and performance, while working cross functionally with our internal customers to deliver actionable information and solutions for the Intranet and Team sites; helping to improve document management practices, and ensuring projects are delivered. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day support, administration, and management of SharePoint, Teams, and M365 apps, including development of applications and processes for SharePoint, Teams, and other M365 applications using the Power Platform and other modern solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, customize and execute exceptional SharePoint-developed websites as per the user needs and requirements.

  • Set tasks and benchmarks and meet these development goals for web application projects as a SharePoint developer.         

  • Solve complex software issues with ease while integrating the projects with MS Office.

  • Improve the overall business process and operational level functioning of an organization using SharePoint expertise.

  • Work towards the goals of curating a smooth and impressive user interface, whether for internal reasons or clients.

  • Stay up-to-date on SharePoint and Microsoft 365 releases, features, and best practices.

  • Create custom designs, pages, and layouts for the user as per requirements.

  • Develop and design new web components using .Net, XML, SQL and similar tools.

  • Update and sustain the SharePoint development areas for web applications.

  • Collaborate with the design team and SharePoint Administrator to ensure that SharePoint development takes place as per the schedule and stated process.    

  • Train staff and end users about the interface and system.

Position Requirements:

  • This position is Remote.

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience is Required.

  • 3+ years of direct experience working as a SharePoint Developer is Required.

  • Experience within the following frameworks: C#, .Net, and SQL is Required.

  • Experience working with front-end technologies such as: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery is Required.

  • Knowledge and understanding of UI/UX is Required.
