Job Description

What impact you’ll make

The Services Director – Asia (Advanced Countries) is a pivotal leadership role accountable for driving the services portfolio across the region. This position ensures seamless project execution, effective bid to service execution transitions, and delivery of innovative solutions aligned with global product strategy. A central focus is on creating new revenue streams, elevating customer success, and strengthening services financial performance by leveraging market insights and the global delivery organisation.

We are looking for a high-performing, services portfolio or delivery leader to drive strategic growth by engaging directly with our key customers in the utilities sector across transmission and distribution. You will collaborate with local and global stakeholders, delivery teams, product teams, and partners to deliver innovative software solutions that empower our customers to navigate the energy transition.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Portfolio Leadership

  • Lead the successful delivery of projects and services, ensuring regional priorities are addressed through global delivery capabilities.
  • Consult on delivery methodologies to introduce and operationalise new products and services.
  • Manage and improve financial and delivery performance against CPI, SPI, on-time delivery, revenue, margin, project budgets, milestone billing, and cash collection.

Market & Growth Leadership

  • Drive growth initiatives to capture opportunities in the utility and OT software market.
  • Strengthen customer and partner relationships in collaboration with commercial teams to expand market presence and provide necessary support and validation of proposals through bid stage
  • Shape and execute innovative revenue models and partnership opportunities.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure operational readiness through robust resource planning, risk management, and compliance with PMO standards.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs that measure portfolio health, delivery performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead a team of project managers capable of executing complex, large-scale projects and programmes.

Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership

  • Align regional strategies with global and cross-functional teams to drive cohesive outcomes.
  • Provide senior leadership with delivery insights, risk assessments, and financial performance updates.
  • Inspire, mentor, and grow high-performing teams across global and regional structures, fostering accountability, collaboration, and innovation including direct people leadership of project managers

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven success (10+ years) in services leadership across complex, large-scale software or infrastructure programmes in particular across countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and Hong Kong.
  • Degree qualified such as engineering or equivalent plus Project Management Certified. Desired Masters level qualification such as MBA.
  • Strong financial and operational acumen, with experience managing portfolio performance to key metrics.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executives, customers, and delivery teams.
  • A strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability and have the ability to balance long-term growth priorities with near-term delivery demands.
  • Experience leading matrixed teams across regions in a global environment with exceptional communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex issues clearly and influence both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
