The ServiceNow Solution Architect will design and implement advanced ServiceNow solutions, lead technical strategy, mentor teams, and foster client relationships.

The ServiceNow Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing sophisticated ServiceNow solutions that align with our clients' business goals and IT strategy. This senior position requires an individual with extensive experience in ServiceNow architecture, a proven track record of successful project leadership, and the ability to mentor and guide technical teams. The ideal candidate will be a thought leader, capable of setting standards, defining best practices, and driving innovation within our ServiceNow practice.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end solutions on the ServiceNow platform that are scalable, maintainable, and meet business requirements.
- Lead the technical strategy for ServiceNow implementations, including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and custom application development.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business needs, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure alignment with their IT landscape.
- Design and implement integration strategies for complex multi-system environments.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including system blueprints, integration diagrams, and data models.
- Own the overall quality for delivery of each project
- Evaluate new ServiceNow features and technologies, recommending their adoption where appropriate to enhance service offerings.
- Mentor junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
- Guide and mentor development teams, promoting best practices in coding, configuration, and customization.
- Evaluate and recommend new ServiceNow features and third-party integrations to enhance solution offerings.
- Collaborate with client leadership to develop road maps for continued adoption and expansion on the platform
- Conduct technical reviews and assessments of ServiceNow implementations, identifying areas for improvement.
- Foster strong client relationships, providing expert advice and strategic insights on leveraging ServiceNow to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; or 3+ years of related work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and architecture, with a solid understanding of the platform's capabilities and limitations.
- ServiceNow certifications as follows: Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM (CIS-ITSM)
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in at least one other application area
- Expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and integration technologies (REST, SOAP).
- Strong experience with enterprise architecture, system integration, and designing scalable solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing large-scale ServiceNow projects and technical teams.
Functional Skills
- Familiarity with Agile Methodology, ability to write or collaborate on effective User Stories
- Familiarity with NowCreate methodology and proven ability to effectively leverage for implementation success
- Demonstrated ability to outline how multiple platform applications interact to create value
- Expert Certification (CMA, CTA, CWA, ArchX) is nice to have but not required
