About Rocket Clicks

At Rocket Clicks, we specialize in helping Family Law Firms grow their business through digital marketing. We are not just an agency - we’re a long-term growth partner. Our team thrives on solving challenges, driving measurable results, and building trusted client relationships.

We believe that how we work matters just as much as what we deliver. Our culture is rooted in six core values:

  • Proactive – We anticipate opportunities and act before problems arise.
  • Disciplined – We remain focused and committed to excellence.
  • Candid – We communicate clearly and directly.
  • Empathetic – We understand and respect the perspectives of others.
  • Accountable – We take ownership of results, good or bad.
  • Results-Oriented – We focus on outcomes, not busyness.

If these values resonate with you, you’ll feel right at home at Rocket Clicks!

The Ideal Candidate

You actually read the instruction manual — not to follow rules, but to understand how things work. When your friend has a problem, you take that as a personal challenge to help them figure it out.

You love puzzles that have both logic and creativity. Getting your spreadsheet tabs organized puts a smile on your face, and so does planning travel with friends. You notice things others miss — like that a website loads slowly or that people keep asking the same question.

Whether it's teaching your mom a keyboard shortcut or helping the family plan dinner, you jump in. You get a thrill seeing others become their best.

'Good enough' isn't in your vocabulary. You own what you do and you're always tinkering.

Sound like you? Let’s talk more about this SEO role.

POSITION SUMMARY

The SEO Manager is a strategic, hands-on role responsible for driving measurable organic growth for our Family Law Firm clients. You'll own the full SEO lifecycle—from strategic planning and roadmap development to day-to-day execution and performance analysis. Your primary goal is to increase organic traffic, conversions, and revenue for our clients while upholding Rocket Clicks' SEO methodology and standards.

You’ll work closely with the SEO Director and Specialists to turn opportunity into action, prioritize high-impact initiatives, and ensure the quality and consistency of SEO deliverables. As both a strategist and operator, you’ll manage workflows within sprint cycles, and drive collaboration between departments to ensure SEO efforts contribute to overall marketing success.

Key Responsibilities & Objectives

  • Strategic Execution
    • Develop and implement SEO strategies tailored to each client’s goals and competitive landscape.
    • Own decision-making within organic search, including technical optimization, on-page SEO, and link-building initiatives.
    • Execute Rocket Clicks’ SEO playbook and apply company first principles to ensure consistency and scalability.
    • Lead detailed six-month SEO roadmaps aligned with client objectives.
    • Partner with content and design teams to ensure creative assets are optimized for search visibility.
  • Performance & Analysis
    • Track, analyze, and report on SEO KPIs — visibility, traffic, conversions — to measure progress and guide strategy.
    • Audit client accounts regularly to identify gaps, forecast opportunities, and validate strategies.
    • Troubleshoot tracking and data integrity issues, ensuring accurate measurement and reporting.
  • Team Collaboration & Mentorship
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams — including Paid Media, Strategy, and Project Management — to ensure integrated marketing execution.
    • Delegate and document tasks within Agile sprint planning, ensuring efficiency and clarity for support team members.
    • Mentor junior specialists or supporting contributors, fostering development and knowledge sharing.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement
    • Stay informed of SEO trends, tools, and algorithm updates, incorporating new insights into client strategies.
    • Ideate and test experiments designed to improve client performance, sharing learnings across the SEO team.
    • Contribute to iterative updates of SEO documentation, systems, and playbooks that enhance scalability.

  • Client Performance: You consistently deliver month-over-month increases in organic traffic and qualified leads for your client portfolio. You measure success by meeting or exceeding client-specific traffic and lead generation goals.
  • Operational Excellence: You manage and delegate tasks effectively within our Agile sprint cycle, ensuring 95% or more of all assigned tasks are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
  • Innovation: Number of new tests, frameworks, or improvements implemented each quarter.
  • Collaboration & Quality: Positive peer and client feedback regarding clarity, communication, and deliverable quality.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
