The Role:

Monarch is seeking a SEO Manager to join our Marketing team during a period of hyper-growth. Reporting directly to the Head of Search and Affiliate, you will own and scale organic content across both traditional search engines and emerging platforms (like ChatGPT).

This role blends editorial excellence with performance marketing. You will deliver content that drives conversions while working cross-functionally with product and engineering to amplify its impact.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the organic content strategy to support business objectives through new content and updating existing content.

  • Monitor rankings and algorithm updates to develop testing calendar.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure website structure supports organic search efforts.

  • Track and report on business and diagnostic KPIs.

  • Expand organic reach beyond traditional search by optimizing content for discovery engines like ChatGPT and other AI assistants.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3-5+ years creating web content and managing a content calendar

  • Strong understanding of on-page SEO, keyword research and search intent

  • Proven experience driving organic search traffic through iterative testing

  • Proficiency with Ahrefs, SEMRush, ScreamingFrog, Google Search Console and web analytics

  • Familiarity with updating websites via a CMS and basic HTML

  • Strong verbal and written communication, Cross-functional collaboration, Analytical and Problem solving skills, Ability to manage multiple priorities, Self-motivated and Pro-active

Nice to Have’s:

  • Experience optimizing app store listings.

  • Understanding of CRO and how content contributes to

  • Experience with off-page SEO

  • Experience in fintech vertical or high growth startup environment
