SEO Copywriter

Remote | $30–$40/hour

Based in Los Angeles, BD&J is the leading personal injury law firm, having recovered over $3 billion for our clients. We pride ourselves on experience our clients can trust. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SEO Copywriter to join our Communications team within the Marketing Department.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality written content across digital and print platforms, including blogs, webpages, marketing materials, email campaigns, and social media. The ideal candidate has a strong command of brand voice, SEO best practices, and bilingual (English/Spanish) copywriting, and can produce original content without the use of generative AI. This role reports to the Communications Director.

Responsibilities include:

  • Write original, SEO-optimized blog content on a weekly basis in both English and Spanish.
  • Create and edit website copy, landing pages, and other digital content in alignment with brand voice and SEO best practices.
  • Write engaging copy for social media platforms (including captions, post copy, and campaign messaging) to support marketing initiatives and brand awareness.
  • Draft and update marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, mailers, and other firm assets.
  • Write monthly email blasts to the firm’s client database and assist with maintaining and updating email lists.
  • Provide accurate Spanish-language translations for marketing and communications materials without the use of generative AI.
  • Collaborate closely with members of the Marketing and Communications teams to develop cohesive campaigns and materials.
  • Assist with additional Marketing or Communications projects as needed.

Skills and Requirements:

  • 2+ years of professional copywriting experience.
  • Written and spoken Spanish fluency.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work on a computer, seated or standing, for up to eight hours per day.
  • Must be able to produce original content without the use of generative AI tools.
