Lead SEO, AEO, and GEO strategy for a B2B Digital Risk Protection category. Build visibility across search engines, AI-generated answers, and review platforms; optimize semantic structure, technical SEO, content, and reputation signals; and connect search performance to leads, revenue, deals, and trust. Develop analytics, test hypotheses, conduct R&D on emerging AI search mechanics, and collaborate with PR, SERM, content, product, and analytics teams.
This is a remote position.
1. Build a search presence for the new category
- Develop an SEO / AEO / GEO strategy for Digital Risk Protection
- Focus not only on traffic, but also on the impact of search on the business (revenue, deals, trust)
- Structure semantics around B2B intent (not ‘what is it’, but ‘how does it affect the business’)
- Build a presence on Google, in AI-generated answers and within the review ecosystem
2. Work with AI search and GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation)
- Optimise content for AI-generated answers (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity)
- Manage how the AI’s interpretation of the company is formed
- Work with entities, sources and citations
- Test hypotheses: how content influences AI search results
3. Focus on meaning, not just SEO
- Contribute to the presentation of case studies, analytics and product pages
- Provide briefs based on intent and business objectives, rather than ‘turnkey’ solutions
- Work in tandem with PR, SERM and content teams
- Build a unified framework: search + AI + media + reviews
4. Build an analytics and growth system
- Set up a metrics system:
- visibility (search + AI)
- branded / non-branded
- impact on leads and deals
- Formulate hypotheses and test them
- Treat SEO as a growth function, not just support
5. Participate in R&D
- Test new approaches in AEO / GEO
- Work with edge-case mechanics (as part of experiments)
- Study how AI responses are generated
- Help us build expertise in a category where we currently have none
