Senior UX/UI Designer
Checkmarx is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to lead the design and user experience of our web presence. This role blends creative design, user-centric thinking, and technical collaboration to deliver visually compelling wireframes and web designs that drive engagement and conversions.
Responsibilities
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Translate copy and concepts into clear wireframes and prototypes that map user journeys effectively.
- Visual Design: Create high-quality, on-brand web designs from wireframes that balance usability, aesthetics, and performance.
- Collaboration with Developers: Partner with front and back-end developers to ensure design vision is implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Web Standards & Best Practices: Apply knowledge of SEO, CRO, accessibility, and responsive design to ensure pages perform across devices and audiences.
- Design System: Establish and maintain a design system for pages, components, templates, and guidelines.
- Graphic Design: Create web graphics and visual assets that align with brand guidelines and enhance the overall user experience.
- Data-Informed Design: Use analytics, heatmaps, and testing tools to identify opportunities and drive iterative improvements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably with B2B websites
- Proficiency in wireframing and design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Experience working in within a CMS (Wordpress) to build, update, and optimize pages in collaboration with developers and content teams.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and best practices.
- Foundational knowledge of web best practices including SEO, CRO, and accessibility.
- Experience working closely with developers to bring designs to life.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and development teams.
- Portfolio showcasing high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and web designs.
