About this Position: 


As a Senior Web Developer at Social Driver, you will be at the forefront of crafting and sustaining cutting-edge web solutions that propel our clients' success. Your role will involve collaborating with our talented Creative Studio of developers, designers, and strategists to develop responsive, intuitive websites. This position demands a perfect blend of technical acumen, creative problem-solving, and a passion for delivering outstanding digital experiences. You'll play a crucial role in shaping the digital presence of our diverse clientele, ensuring every project meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

Objectives & Responsibilities:

Open Source Technologies: Leverage your understanding of open source and community-based technologies to build robust, scalable solutions that cater to client needs.

End-to-End Development: Lead the development of WordPress websites from inception to completion, ensuring all project requirements are met and exceeded.

CSS/SASS, JavaScript, PHP Templating: Utilize your extensive knowledge of these languages to develop dynamic, responsive, and high-performance web pages.

Code Management: Use GitHub for effective version control, code management, and team collaboration.

Design Mockups: Accurately interpret and provide feedback to the Design team for technical feasibility. Seamlessly theme websites to match designs from Figma, working closely with the design team to ensure consistency and accuracy.

CSS Frameworks: Apply frameworks like Bootstrap, and component libraries like Skelementor, to ensure responsive and consistent web interfaces that enhance user experience.

JavaScript Libraries: Implement and customize charting libraries such as HighCharts, Charts.js, and D3 for dynamic data visualization.

Elementor Expertise: Expertly build and manage pages and component libraries using Elementor.

Content Strategy: Collaborate with content strategists on migration plans and CMS setup for content types and taxonomy to ensure seamless content integration.

Documentation: Support content strategists in creating comprehensive CMS training documentation for client education and usability.

SEO Best Practices: Provide expert recommendations incorporating SEO best practices and adapt to client feedback to achieve their goals.

Website Launch: Oversee the website launch process to ensure minimal downtime and negligible impact on SEO.

Coding Standards: Adhere to and promote coding standards set by technical management and industry norms, including conducting cross-browser tests and accessibility checks to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Plugin and Module Development: Develop and maintain WordPress plugin modules to extend website functionality.

Integration Experience: Integrate and utilize tools such as Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, Neforum, Microsoft Dynamics 365, iMIS, Fonteva, Impexium, FormAssembly, and other AMS and form-building software.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in web development, and systems creation with WordPress, preferably within a digital marketing or software development environment.
  • Proficiency in QA tools and software, such as Asana, JIRA, Selenium, QTest, etc. Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) for test automation is a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP) and WPEngine’s developer tools, and technical solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in accurately tracking time using Harvest and efficiently managing multiple tasks with project management tools such as Asana.
  • Bonus: experience with Webflow
